Eligible Vodafone plan
To connect to Vodafone 5G, you’ll need to sign up to any of our current phone, prepaid or 5G Home Internet Plans.
Mobile phone plans
Vodafone mobile customers can access the Vodafone 5G network when they sign up to any Vodafone postpaid or prepaid mobile phone plan with a 5G approved device and use their device in a Vodafone 5G coverage area. You can find our full list of 5G approved devices below.

Where is Vodafone 5G available?
While we continue to support you on our best ever 4G network, Vodafone’s 5G network is rolling out to selected areas in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth, Gold Coast, Central Coast, Wollongong and the Sunshine Coast. Within these cities, 5G is available in selected areas in 1000 suburbs.

Vodafone will not charge its customers extra for access to our 5G network on our current phone plans.
As a global brand, we are also proud to say that our customers using $5 Roaming with a 5G approved device will shortly be able to enjoy 5G in a few of Australia's favourite overseas destinations such as Germany, New Zealand and China, with more countries being switched on soon.

Vodafone 5G is available in selected areas in 1,000 suburbs, benefiting 1,000,000 customers.

You can bring your own compatible 5G device to Vodafone on a SIM Only or prepaid plan. If you purchased a 5G device from another provider, you may not have access to our full 5G coverage. Check out our approved devices to see which have been tested and optimised for use on Vodafone’s network.
